I've been working on a submission for Torquere's All I Want.. sips call, due September 15th. My original plan was to write about a female soldier returning from Iraq, but she and the other characters were being elusive. Instead, my regency ladies decided they were ready for me to write about them. *facepalm* So that's what I've been doing.

Final word count for my WWII story. I just submitted it for consideration. *crosses fingers* I hope they like it.

That's the tentative final word count on my World War II story. Provided I don't make any changes before I submit it for the anthology. I'm just glad to have it finished.

That's how many I have for my Uncommon Valor submission. Just under 2k away from the minimum wordcount they're looking for. About 1k of that is a sex scene. I have at least one other planned (the boys are being very insistent about it). That's how much I have so far. I've closed one of the gaps considerably and worked in one of the scenes that was just kind of floating there. Had to change the PoV for it, but I think it works better now, actually.

I've spent the past couple days working out a proper timeline for my novel. I knew, generally, that it was going to start sometime in the summer and go for as long as necessary, maybe into winter, but I didn't have anything more specific than that.
